Kovolit, a.s. dates its history from 1921, when a machine shop Koloferra was established in Modřice near Brno. Today, Kovolit, a.s. is a purely Czech company with more than 540 employees and an annual turnover of almost CZK 1.1 billion. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of aluminium die castings and die forgings from non-ferrous metals in the Czech Republic. Products manufactured by Kovolit, a.s. are used primarily in automotive and electrical engineering industry of EU countries as well as in countries overseas. The company is certified according to recognized ISO quality and environmental standards.
